Well, I really hadn't told anyone anything about my trip to Destin and Okaloosa Island Florida so here goes. It was absolutely fabulous! The water was teal blue and the sand was sugar white and there were some of the prettiest sunsets I've seen in a long time. The condo we had was awesome with a wrap around balcony that was gulf side and right on the beach, literally.  There was a balcony outside the master bedroom that had both gulf and bay views and a jacuzzi tub. It really was very nice.

The wedding was perfect and I have to really give cuddos to the wedding planner. She really did an amazing job getting everything together exactly the way the kids wanted it. They made a big heart in the sand and filled it with rose petals that matched the color of Shauna's bouquet  and the she walked across the boardwalk like it was the isle and even Gene cried when he saw her. (he hadn't seen the dress) I had forgotten how stunning she looked in her dress. Instead of a candle lighting ceremony they had a sand ceremony and they each pored sand from a glass into a bottle to signify there lives together and they included Noah in that. It was very sweet. Shauna and Genes friends were even able to come there for the ceremony to stand up for them.

All in all it was pretty much perfect. The only thing that would've made it better is if Gene's parents would have been able to be there.

My next trip will be to Virginia Beach to see my son on August 8th for 2 weeks and then I won't be going on any trips for a long time.
